Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant 2's Teacher to support early childhood education in a nurturing classroom environment. The ideal candidate will assist in implementing curriculum plans, fostering social and emotional development, and ensuring a safe and engaging space for young learners. Experience with children, classroom management, and early childhood education principles are essential to help promote a positive learning experience for preschoolers. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with lead teachers and contribute to the foundational growth of young children. Duties Assist in developing and executing lesson plans aligned with educational standards, including literacy, math, and curriculum development. Support classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior and create a respectful learning environment. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that enhance social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Provide individualized attention to children, including toddlers or children with disabilities or special needs such as autism or behavioral challenges. Support classroom routines such as circle time, snack time, nap time, and outdoor play. Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that complies with safety standards and promotes learning. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to early childhood education. Assist in documenting developmental progress and participating in parent-teacher conferences when needed. Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, private school settings, or similar environments is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development theories and early childhood education practices is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and specialists are required. This position provides an enriching opportunity to shape early childhood experiences while supporting the growth of young learners through engaging activities and compassionate guidance.
