Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Assistant Teacher/Floater to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this engaging role, you will support classroom teachers across various age groups, ensuring a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment for young learners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while making a positive impact on children's development. Your energetic approach and strong communication skills will help foster a love of learning and support diverse student needs, including those with special education requirements or disabilities. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and early childhood development activities Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and facilitating age-appropriate behavior management strategies Provide hands-on care and supervision for children, including toddler care and preschool activities, ensuring safety and well-being at all times Adapt instructional materials and activities to meet the individual needs of students, including those with autism or other disabilities Help create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional growth, independence, and curiosity Float between classrooms as needed to support staffing coverage, maintaining consistency in childcare quality across the center Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred Familiarity with early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and classroom management techniques Experience supporting children with special needs or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Knowledge of curriculum development for literacy education, math skills, and behavior management strategies Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, parents, and children Demonstrated ability to work well with young children in a nurturing and structured environment Ideal for a student in Early Childhood Education. Pay:
