Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night and Weekend Care Worker to provide exceptional support and assistance to residents during evening and weekend hours. Responsibilities Monitor residents' safety and well-being throughout night and weekend shifts, including observing vital signs and overall condition. Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Provide compassionate patient care, including meal preparation, feeding assistance, and light cleaning to ensure a clean and safe environment. Observe residents closely for any changes in health status or behavior; document observations accurately for ongoing care planning. Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents by following established protocols; administer first aid or CPR if required Skills Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and behavioral issues. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices related to patient information. Excellent observational skills with patience for working with vulnerable populations requiring dedicated support. Competency in basic caregiving tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and assisting with ADLs while maintaining safety standards.
