Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to preschool-aged children while ensuring their safety and well-being. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children's curiosity and creativity. Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas, including social skills, language development, and motor skills. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development, behavior, and any concerns. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience for all students. Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible for children. Provide first aid when necessary and maintain a safe environment by following health and safety guidelines. Support children with special needs or developmental delays by adapting activities as needed. Qualifications A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. Experience working with young children in daycare settings or as a nanny is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education. First aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Strong caregiving skills with the ability to connect with children on an individual level. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Experience working with students who have special educational needs is an advantage.
