JOB SUMMARY
: Assist the Trust Officer and staff in the daily operations of the Trust Department. Assist in the management of the financial assets of individual, trust and institutional accounts in accordance with the high standards required of fiduciaries. Assist in making sure accounts are managed according to governing laws, regulations, and trust policies & procedures, as well as other legal documents, taking into consideration the overall needs and objectives of the beneficiaries.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintain a working knowledge of Trust daily, weekly, monthly, and annual duties to assist Trust Officer. Maintain a working knowledge of and manage the cash needs of accounts and beneficiaries. Maintain a working knowledge of trust and estate planning. Work with Trust staff to coordinate job flow between staff and Trust Officer. Assist Trust Officer in the maintenance of existing customer base and the development of new customer base by calling on clients, prospects and professionals as coordinated with Trust management. Prepare portfolio investment projections, charts, graphs, and presentations. Maintain a Mutual Fund and Stock buy lists. Reconcile checking accounts each month. Prepare portions of the monthly Trust Committee and Board reports. Establish and maintain tickler memos as appropriate to ensure complete and efficient administration of accounts. Assist clients as appropriate in the management of their personal affairs in addition to their financial affairs.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform other duties and projects as required by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION
Bachelor's degree with preference in Finance, Business, Economics or related field preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities: Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity. Frequent lifting (up to 25 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment and/or assets of customers). Driving to client locations and other sites as needed.
