In this vital leadership role, you will oversee daily operations within our assisted living community, ensuring residents receive exceptional care and support. You will coordinate staff, manage care plans, and foster a warm, safe environment that promotes independence and dignity for our residents. Your energetic approach and management expertise will help create a vibrant community where residents thrive and feel valued every day. Responsibilities Supervise and support caregiving staff to deliver high-quality assisted living services aligned with individual care plans. Oversee medication administration, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards. Develop, implement, and regularly review personalized care plans for residents with diverse needs, including dementia and memory care. Manage daily operations including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to maintain efficient community functioning. Foster positive relationships with residents' families, providing updates and addressing concerns proactively. Lead staff training initiatives focused on Alzheimer's care, dementia support, and person-centered approaches to senior care. Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety standards, and licensing requirements across all aspects of community management. Requirements Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments with a strong background in senior care and long-term care management. Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience managing teams in group home or retirement home settings. Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care strategies, and memory support techniques. Ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual resident needs while managing operational tasks such as budgeting and resource planning. Familiarity with medication administration protocols and home & community care practices. Strong leadership qualities paired with excellent communication skills to motivate staff and engage residents positively. Relevant certifications in nursing, social work, or assisted living management are highly desirable; experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
