Our practice centers on consumer and business bankruptcy, with additional work in estate planning and probate. We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney eager to build real courtroom and client experience in a collaborative, supportive environment. Why Join WM Law? Hands-on experience from day one

You will also assist with estate planning and probate on a more limited basis, providing broad experience across all three areas. Bankruptcy (primary focus)

• Consumer Chapter 7/13 and business bankruptcy; court appearances and client representation Estate Planning (secondary)
• Wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related planning documents Probate (secondary)
• Estate administration and probate court proceedings Responsibilities Consult with and advise clients throughout the case lifecycle Appear in bankruptcy court, probate court, and related proceedings Manage cases from intake through resolution Collaborate closely with attorneys and support staff across all offices Travel periodically to satellite office locations Qualifications We hire for character and train for skills.

Prior experience in bankruptcy, estate planning, or probate is a plus—not a requirement.

The ideal candidate will have:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Active Missouri and/or Kansas bar license (or pending admission) Strong judgment, initiative, and professionalism Excellent written and verbal communication skills A client-focused mindset and strong interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment About WM Law WM Law serves clients across the Kansas City metropolitan area from four convenient office locations.
