Job Description

Associate Dentist Water's Edge Family Dentistry Saint Clair, MI 48079 Full-time Full-time We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality dental care and will possess a strong understanding of dental procedures, patient management, and office protocols. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Fully digital office with updated technology. Historic production of 1 million per year between rotating schedules. Monday through Thursday hours. Daily minimum with a bonus structure. Individualized mentorship available. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences. Conduct various dental procedures including endodontics, oral surgery, and preventive care. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize Dentrix software for managing patient information, appointments, and billing processes. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile working environment. Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide seamless patient care. Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school. Valid state dental license to practice dentistry. Proficient in dental terminology and medical documentation practices. Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques is preferred. Knowledge of infection control standards and protocols within a dental office setting. Familiarity with endodontics procedures is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
