  • Part-time Associate Dentist Maternity Leave Coverage (July 2026) Private Practice | Wellington, FL Join Our Modern, Patient-Centered Dental Practice Serenity Grove Dental is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and personable Associate Dentist to provide temporary maternity leave coverage during the month of July 2026 .
We are a modern, privately owned dental office in Wellington, FL focused on delivering high-quality dentistry in a calm, spa-like environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a doctor who values clinical autonomy, supportive teamwork, and relationship-based patient care. The position is available for approximately 3-4 days per week , with a schedule of: Tuesday Wednesday Thursday This is a temporary position with potential for future opportunities as our practice continues to grow. Position Overview The Associate Dentist will provide comprehensive general dentistry with an emphasis on patient comfort, education, and clinical excellence. The ideal candidate is confident in bread-and-butter dentistry, communicates well with patients, and enjoys working in a team-oriented environment. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesClinical Care Perform comprehensive exams, diagnoses, and treatment planning Provide high-quality general dentistry including: Restorative dentistry (fillings, crowns, bridges) Extractions (simple), and surgical referred out Periodontal treatment in collaboration with hygiene team Cosmetic procedures such as whitening and bonding Perform pre-referral consultations for implants, endo, ortho Patient Communication Clearly explain treatment options and recommendations Educate patients on oral health and preventive care Build trust through compassionate, patient-centered interactions Clinical Documentation Maintain accurate and timely clinical notes Review medical histories and update records appropriately Utilize digital radiographs and imaging systems effectively Team Collaboration Work closely with hygienists, assistants, and administrative team Maintain a positive and professional office environment Follow OSHA, CDC, and Florida Board of Dentistry standards Required Qualifications DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school Active Florida dental license in good standing Current CPR/BLS certification DEA registration (or eligibility) Strong general dentistry skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional, ethical, and patient-focused approach Preferred Qualifications Experience with: OpenDental or digital practice management systems Digital scanners and intraoral cameras Cosmetic dentistry and restorations Emergency dentistry ScheduleTemporary Coverage Position July 2026 Expected Clinical Days Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Compensation & Benefits Competitive daily guarantee and/or percentage compensation based on experience Supportive and experienced clinical team Modern office and updated technology Convenient Wellington location with free parking Opportunity for future associate opportunities as practice grows About Serenity Grove Dental Serenity Grove Dental opened in 2025 with a vision of redefining the dental experience through compassionate care, clinical excellence, and a calming patient environment.
