The Associate Producer designs and produces low-complexity multimedia programming under close supervision. Assists other Producers.Additional Department Summary:
Researches, writes, and approves stories for broadcast and digital platforms. Oversees all elements of the newscast and is responsible for story selection, writing, and editing before "boothing". Crafts and executes the vision for the newscast. Assists with planning and execution of ideas while fostering teamwork and collaboration.Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in fine arts, broadcast communication, telecommunication and film, journalism, or graphic design; OR associate's degree fine arts, broadcast communication, telecommunication and film, journalism, or graphic design and two (2) years of broadcast or multimedia writing, production, and/or direction experience; OR a high school diploma or GED and four (4) years of broadcast or multimedia writing, production, and/or direction experience.Preferred Qualifications:
