About The Position:
This full-time position carries a 10-month obligation and will be responsible for providing proper and quality athletic training services to all student-athletes as needed. Duties may include but are not limited to; practice and game/competition coverage, assisting with the development and oversight of strength and conditioning programs, and maintenance of injury reports. The Enrollment and Student Success division supports a student's entire collegiate experience from the point of admission through to graduation. We partner with students, faculty and staff to provide a network of opportunities and services that lead to student success. Collectively, the division of Enrollment and Student Success positively influences the health, safety and well-being of the student body. The department of Athletics & Recreation subscribes to the philosophy that athletics complements the total education experience of our students. We allow multiple ways for students to compete or participate in a variety of quality athletic programs consistent with the overall educational mission of SUNY Plattsburgh. Bachelor's degree NATA certification NYS Athletic Training License or License eligible First aid, CPR, and AED certification at the time of appointment Valid Driver's License Ability and willingness to travel and perform evening and weekend work A demonstrated ability to work effectively and collegially with faculty, staff, and administratorsPreferred Qualifications:
Master's degree National Strength and Conditioning Certification 1-year minimum experience in the field which can include graduate assistant and/or internship experience Salary (Applicant View) $45,000 minimum, plus excellent benefits About Our University SUNY Plattsburgh, home of the Cardinals, is part of the largest comprehensive university system in the United States.
