This role combines photography and item description with equipment operation and sale-day staging. Ideal candidates are comfortable working outdoors in all weather, have an eye for detail, are comfortable with technology, and can safely move and position equipment for auction listings and sale preparation. Key Responsibilities Photograph equipment and items for online listings and sale catalogs with clear, accurate images. Write concise, accurate descriptions including make, model, condition, notable features, and any visible defects. Operate and move equipment such as tractors, skid steers, loaders, trucks, and trailers to stage lots for sale. Stage and line up items in the yard according to the auction layout. Perform basic condition checks and note mechanical or cosmetic issues for listings. Required Qualifications and Skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Comfortable operating heavy equipment or willingness to train; prior experience preferred. Basic photography skills with a smartphone and ability to compose clear, well-lit images. Strong written communication and attention to detail for accurate item descriptions. Physical stamina to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and wind. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and climb on/off equipment safely. Reliable transportation to and from the Walkerton location Professionalism and punctuality with the ability to meet tight deadlines around sale schedules. Preferred Qualifications Experience in auctions, equipment sales, farm or construction industries. Certifications or licenses for equipment operation such as forklift, CDL, or tractor endorsements. Familiarity with inventory or listing software and basic photo editing. Basic mechanical aptitude for minor adjustments and safe equipment handling.
