As the only private audiology practice in Southeast Alaska, they are dedicated to delivering accessible, personalized hearing healthcare tailored to each patient's unique needs. Their commitment to excellence has earned them a trusted reputation for providing high-quality audiological care to both adults and children throughout the region.
Position Overview:
Northland Audiology & Hearing Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Audiologist to join their thriving private practice in Juneau. This is a patient-centered role in a well-established clinic, offering the opportunity to work with both adult and pediatric patients. The ideal Audiologist candidate will thrive in a collaborative and supportive environment, providing comprehensive audiological services that make a meaningful impact on patients' lives.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostic evaluations and hearing tests for patients of all ages. Perform cochlear implant evaluations and mapping to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Provide tinnitus management services tailored to individual patient needs. Educate patients and families on hearing loss, treatment options, and assistive technology. Maintain a patient-first approach, customizing care plans to align with individual goals and lifestyles. Monthly travel to outlying clinic locations to provide services with some overnight travelRequirements:
Doctoral degree in Audiology Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills A commitment to integrity, honesty, and respect for the patients, staff, and the practice Self-starter with a positive and professional attitude Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to thrive both independently and in team settingsBenefits:
