Perform structural and non-structural repairs according to manufacturer specifications, including precise panel alignment and restoration using specialized collision repair equipment (e.g., frame machines andmeasuring systems). 3. Repair and restore plastic and aluminum vehicle components. 4. Perform welding and fabrication using modern welding techniques, including MIG (GMAW) and oxy-acetylene, for steel and aluminum parts. 5. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical components damaged in collisions, including suspension, steering, and basic electrical systems. 6. Conduct quality control inspections and test-drive vehicles to confirm proper function and compliance with safety and industry standards. There is limited driving required to perform the work tasks.
