In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for providing top-tier cleaning and detailing services that leave cars looking pristine and customers thrilled. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in auto detailing, car washing, and custodial work while contributing to a positive customer experience. We currently offer both in shop and mobile detailing. We might do away with mobile detailing but for now you must be willing to do either one or both. Soon we will be offering window tint, paint protection film (PPF) and vinyl wrapping so if you have experience or training in any of those you will have a leg up and we will take that into consideration when setting pay rate. A candidate with auto detailing or film installation experience will also be considered for the manager role once we have hired a couple more employees this year. The manager will also receive monthly paid profit sharing when the business hits certain revenue and profit targets. Starting pay rate will be $17-19 per hour and will be increased to at least $20 once you are able to work on your own without supervision. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of vehicle exteriors and interiors, including washing, vacuuming, and polishing to achieve a showroom-quality finish Use buffing machines and techniques to restore vehicle paintwork and remove scratches or imperfections Apply window tinting films accurately and efficiently, ensuring a smooth, bubble-free finish Conduct detailed inspections of vehicles to identify areas needing special attention or repairs Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and organizing tools and supplies Operate company vehicles responsibly for transportation between locations or customer drop-offs when necessary Provide friendly, professional customer service by explaining services performed and addressing any questions or concerns Skills Proven experience in car wash, detailing, or custodial roles with an emphasis on cleanliness and precision Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Knowledge of detailing techniques including buffing, polishing, cleaning, and window tinting applications Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, buffers, vacuums, and hand tools safely and effectively Basic driving skills with a valid driver's license; comfortable navigating various vehicle sizes and types Experience in janitorial or custodial work demonstrating attention to detail and reliability Willingness to learn new skills related to auto care and maintenance Embark on a career where your enthusiasm for vehicle care makes a real difference!
