Job Summary The Auto Painter works out of WW Clyde's brand new world class paint shop in Spanish Fork and is primarily responsible for repainting repaired vehicles, painting and maintaining all heavy equipment in the plant, pressure washing equipment, sandblasting, and placing decals. This is a great opportunity for an experienced painter who takes pride in their craft and wants to work in a top tier facility with the support of a 100 year old company behind them. Responsibilities Autobody repair and paint, including painting of miscellaneous metals and woods. Heavy equipment and automotive surface preparation and paint, with seat upholstery work as needed. Pressure wash equipment. Fiberglass body work for general equipment hoods and fender repair. Install vinyl lettering, logos, and general branding and labeling on equipment and fleet vehicles. Minor carpentry as needed. Cut and work with plexiglass. Minor mechanical work as required. Always ensure a safe and healthy work environment. Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values. Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 3+ years of automotive painting experience preferred. Automotive restoration skills preferred. Knowledge of paint systems and maintenance. Knowledge of fresh air systems operation and maintenance. Knowledge of proper handling methods and disposal of unused paints and thinners. Familiar with the operation of equipment. Attention and commitment to safety. Ability to work well with others in a team environment. Physical Demands May frequently be required to walk long distances over uneven ground. May frequently be required to stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for long periods of time. Must be medically qualified to wear a respirator. Must frequently be able to lift or carry 0 to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds. May occasionally lift items over their head. May frequently be required to climb up and down equipment via steps or short vertical ladders. Needs to be able to communicate well to receive and follow instructions, and understand safety requirements. Pay:
$22.00 - $31.00 per hour
