You will be responsible for preparing & applying high-quality powder coatings to a wide range of metal components.
Full time schedule:
Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-12:30am; Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Duties Prep parts for coating including hanging, surface cleaning and masking protocols. Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns, coating booths, and curing ovens, following established procedures. Load and unload parts as needed from the curing oven, monitoring time and temperature. Interpret production documents such as work orders, process sheets, and quality standards. Follow strict schedules and timelines. Handle materials safely using forklifts and cranes, adhering strictly to safety protocols and PPE requirements such as respirators and protective clothing. Use of hand and power tools. Conduct finished part inspections for quality, coverage, and consistency. Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment, perform routine maintenance on spray guns and coating machinery. Skills 1+yrs Proven experience with powder coating applications in a manufacturing or industrial setting required. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and knowledge of basic machining equipment. Ability to interpret technical documents related to production finishing and materials handling. Knowledge of safety protocols including PPE use, respiratory protection, and hazard awareness in an industrial environment. Experience with forklift operation, crane handling, and warehouse procedures for efficient materials movement. Basic math skills for measuring coatings and parts accurately using precision measuring instruments. Attention to detail
