This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and field professionals on meaningful municipal and private utility projects throughout Connecticut. If you enjoy problem-solving, technology, mapping, and creating accurate technical drawings, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Prepare record drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D , GPS data, and site information Assist with preparation of record documentation and as-built plans Support GIS and data collection programs Archive and organize project and field data Coordinate with office and field personnel to support active projects Work directly with senior technical staff on a variety of engineering projects Help contribute to projects that support Connecticut's water infrastructure systems What We're Looking ForPreferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience with AutoCAD / Civil 3D (education may substitute for experience) Familiarity with GIS platforms including ArcGIS or QGIS Understanding of survey fundamentals and construction drafting Strong geometric visualization and technical drafting skills Comfortable using Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace , especially spreadsheets Ability to work independently while staying organized and detail-focused Strong communication and teamwork skillsAdditional Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods Ability to read and follow written directions Comfortable working in a fast-paced professional office environment Why Join Snyder Civil?
