Certified Nursing Assistant/CNA

Overview We are currently hiring for the 7:00am-3:00pm & 3:00pm-11:00pm shifts. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems. Collaborate with nursing staff on patient assessments and communicate changes in condition promptly Requirements Valid Connecticut CNA certification from an accredited program. Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in specialized areas such as behavioral health or geriatrics is highly preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices including aseptic technique Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting using Hoyer lifts and assisting with patient mobility Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and provide compassionate patient service Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and safeguarding patient confidentiality Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication enhances the well-being of others.
