Job Description

Overview We are currently hiring for the 7:00am-3:00pm & 3:00pm-11:00pm shifts. Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to nursing staff and deliver high-quality, personalized care to individuals across various healthcare settings. Working in long-term care, you'll be at the forefront of promoting comfort, safety, and dignity for those in your care. This position offers an engaging opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to a supportive and dynamic team committed to excellence in patient service. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems. Collaborate with nursing staff on patient assessments and communicate changes in condition promptly Requirements Valid Connecticut CNA certification from an accredited program. Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in specialized areas such as behavioral health or geriatrics is highly preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices including aseptic technique Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting using Hoyer lifts and assisting with patient mobility Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and provide compassionate patient service Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and safeguarding patient confidentiality Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication enhances the well-being of others. Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
