Job Description
Job Summary In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing precise wheel alignments, suspension diagnostics, and related repairs to ensure optimal vehicle handling, safety, and performance. Your expertise will help drivers enjoy a smooth ride while maintaining their vehicles' longevity. We're seeking energetic professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional automotive service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative setting, working with a wide range of vehicle makes and models. Duties Conduct comprehensive wheel alignments using state-of-the-art equipment to meet manufacturer specifications. Diagnose suspension issues, including shocks, struts, and steering components, utilizing automotive schematics and diagnostic tools Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to repair or replace mechanical components like axles, control arms, and bushings Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues related to suspension Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality control procedures while providing excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and professionally and working with front desk to supply estimates
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A COMMISSION BASED POSITION.
Our last mechanic's weekly pay was on the average of $1800.00 a week. Experience Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical repair. Familiarity with alignment equipment, suspension systems, steering components, and tire service procedures Ability to read schematics accurately and utilize technical manuals effectively. Hands-on experience with brake repair, shocks & struts replacement, etc. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software is highly desirable.
