The Motor House is a trusted local dealership known for quality vehicles and reliable in-house service work. We're looking for a motivated, experienced Automotive Mechanic/Technician to handle vehicle reconditioning and light to moderate repairs before and after sales.

Position Overview:

This is a full-time opportunity for someone who takes pride in doing clean, efficient work. You'll be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing dealership inventory as well as occasional customer vehicles.

Responsibilities:

Perform oil and fluid changes, brake jobs, suspension repairs, and axle work Diagnose and repair timing chains/belts and related components Identify needed repairs during inspections and communicate findings Maintain organized work area and manage tasks with minimal supervision Preferred Skills (Not Required): Ability to perform full engine or transmission swaps

Requirements:

Solid mechanical background with hands-on experience Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Self-motivated and dependable — able to manage your own workflow Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

Pay:

$52,000-$70,200 annual salary , depending on experience
