Automotive Motor Vehicle Clerk - Wappingers Falls, NY Looking for a strong and motivated self-starter to fill an existing Motor Vehicle Clerk position in Wappingers Falls NY. Job Duties for Automotive Vehicle Clerk - Auto Dealer Biller / DMV Clerk Processes applicable finance department documents, and handles the legal transfer of documents for NY State DMV and other states. Responsibilities- not all inclusive

• Processes all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled and assist Finance Managers in preparation of deal paperwork
• Prepares tax and title documents.
• Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles and generates plates and registrations.
• Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete.
• Bills out dealer trades (swaps) and prepares Certificates of Origin.
• Maintains a system to verify out-of-state titles.
• Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles and provides a current list of outstanding titles to the comptroller at the end of month.
• Assigns over titles for all wholesalers who have paid in full.
• Stays abreast of title regulations.

Attends seminars held by local licensing bureaus and any available training on title regulations. Must have DMV processing experience within a Car Dealership. Must have experience with Verify, Dealertrack, Tri
