Fleet Mechanic

Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all types of landscaping equipment, including mowers, leaf blowers, weed whackers, and snow equipment. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair vehicles, gasoline and diesel engines, and heavy machinery, including skid steers, excavators, and trailers. Operate power tools and utilize a wide variety of maintenance hand tools. Travel to various worksites throughout Westchester, NJ, and Dutchess County. Work in various weather conditions, including snow, rain, heat, and cold. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Assist with training and onboarding new shop employees. Follow all shop protocols and maintenance schedules. Qualifications Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing landscaping equipment and vehicles. Proficiency in using power tools and maintenance hand tools. Ability to work in various weather conditions. Strong adherence to safety protocols.
