In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety for our customers. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, powertrains, and diesel engines, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications. Execute preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements to prolong vehicle lifespan. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs efficiently. Conduct wheel alignments and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations to ensure vehicle safety features function correctly. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic procedures in compliance with dealership standards. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics software and understanding of automotive electrical systems. Experience working with ADAS systems, wheel alignments, transmissions, and diesel engine repairs is highly desirable. Ability to read schematics accurately and troubleshoot using automotive diagnostics tools. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures including powertrain work and general automotive service tasks. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair machinery. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid technician certification or equivalent training; ASE certification is preferred but not required. Join our team where your expertise drives us forward!
