Automotive Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and service. This role requires a good driving record, your own tools/toolbox, and a good attitude. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles. Walk-ins are welcome, apply Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm Responsibilities Perform diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues and recommend appropriate repairs. Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's condition and recommended services. Assist in auto estimating for repair costs and timeframes. Work collaboratively with team members in a small business environment to ensure high-quality service delivery. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques. Requirements Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic Strong knowledge of automotive repair Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Familiarity with auto estimating processes is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to automotive service are advantageous.
