Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Automotive Technician to join our team and drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaving our service bays meets the highest standards of safety, performance, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and diesel engines. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs efficiently. Execute wheel alignments and perform suspension work to ensure optimal vehicle handling and safety standards. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating procedures, and communicate repair findings clearly to customers. Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards while delivering exceptional customer service. Skills Proven dealership experience or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and electrical systems troubleshooting. Extensive mechanical knowledge across various vehicle components including powertrain, transmissions, diesel engines, and ADAS technology. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service machinery. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; experience with auto estimating software is advantageous. Ability to read technical manuals accurately and follow detailed repair procedures.
