Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience working on various vehicle makes and models, including Ford vehicles. This role requires a thorough understanding of automotive electrical systems, powertrains, transmissions, and alignment procedures. The Automotive Technician will perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. Experience with dealership operations, ADAS systems, schematics interpretation, and auto estimating is highly valued. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth within a professional automotive environment. Compensation will be determined by previous experience and Ford Motor Company Certifications. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues with electrical systems, powertrains, transmissions, and other vehicle components Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs accurately and efficiently Perform wheel alignments and service ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) to ensure optimal vehicle performance Interpret schematics and technical manuals for precise troubleshooting and repair procedures Conduct vehicle inspections to determine necessary repairs or maintenance services Maintain detailed service records and complete auto estimating for repairs performed Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and addressing customer concerns professionally Skills Proven dealership experience or service technician background preferred Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrains, transmissions, and diesel engine repair Proficiency in using diagnostic software, schematics, and auto estimating tools Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machinery Ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to ADAS systems and automotive electronics Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction Experience working with Ford vehicles is a plus Knowledge of auto service best practices and safety protocols This role is ideal for motivated automotive professionals eager to apply their technical skills in a dynamic environment while delivering exceptional service.
