Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle care and repair services. In this energetic role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help keep vehicles running smoothly and efficiently, contributing to our reputation for quality service and technical excellence. Whether working on gasoline engines, diesel powertrains, or advanced electrical systems, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your mechanical skills and passion for automotive technology in a fast-paced environment. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and steering. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems on diverse vehicle makes and models. Conduct wheel alignments, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations, and other precision services to ensure vehicle safety standards. Replace or repair powertrain components, diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical parts using hand tools and power tools. Complete auto estimating for repairs, ensuring clear communication of necessary work to customers or service advisors. Maintain detailed service records and adhere to dealership or shop procedures for quality assurance. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, ADAS technology, schematics reading, and diagnostics. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools. Solid mechanical knowledge across vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and diesel engine repairs. Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately while following safety protocols. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to the service writer.
