Automotive Technician - Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for performing accurate diagnostics and high-quality automotive repairs across a variety of vehicle systems. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical expertise with strong problem-solving abilities, using both manufacturer-specific tools and personal experience to efficiently identify and resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform thorough and accurate automotive diagnostic procedures using manufacturer systems and tools Complete repairs in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining high quality standards Stay current with all required manufacturer training and certifications Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including proper care of tools and equipment Collaborate with the Parts Department and Service Manager to ensure clear, timely communication regarding vehicle needs and repair status Document work performed through well-written, detailed technician notes (CCCs) Accurately track and record labor time through proper time-punch procedures This position requires attention to detail, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
