Lead Automotive Technician (7-10 Years Experience Required) $40-$50 Per Hour (Flat Rate or Hourly Based on Experience) AMJ Auto Repair | Full-Time | Monday-Friday | No Weekends AMJ Auto Repair is seeking an experienced Lead Automotive Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for a high-level technician with strong diagnostic and electrical experience who can efficiently handle complex repairs and help maintain the high standards our customers expect. Responsibilities Perform advanced diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and drivability repairs Complete repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles Diagnose issues accurately and recommend proper repairs Communicate findings clearly with service advisors and team members Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area Stay current with evolving automotive technology and repair procedures Qualifications 7-10 years of professional automotive technician experience required Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills ASE Certification preferred Maryland State Inspector license preferred Ability to work independently and efficiently High attention to detail and quality workmanship Valid driver's license required Benefits $40-$50 per hour based on experience and productivity Busy shop with consistent workflow Monday-Friday schedule — no weekends Health insurance 401(k) matching Retirement plan options Paid time off Ongoing training and career advancement opportunities Clean, professional, well-equipped shop
