Physical Therapist II

Become Rooted in Caring for Life at St. Camillus! We are currently looking for a Full Time Physical Therapist to join our Inpatient Rehab Department. Position is on-site. No remote work available. Eligible for a $5,000 Sign On Bonus!

Responsibilities:

The primary purpose of this position is to evaluate, organize and conduct physical therapy programs upon physician's referral to help patients reach their maximum performance level. Determine individual patient condition and develop individual therapy plan in coordination with proper exercise techniques and modalities. Apply diagnostic and prognostic muscle, nerve, joint and functional ability tests. Teach patient and family proper use and care of equipment such as braces, wheelchairs, prosthetic devices. Supervise physical therapy supportive personnel, physical therapy students, and/or volunteers. Maintain good working relations with other departments in relation to the philosophy at St. Camillus Rehabilitation Center. Act as a mentor to new employees. Consult with patients, family and/or health team in regard to treatment programs, progress, and planning. Attend patient conferences as needed. Maintain knowledge of current advances in the field of physical therapy. Participate as appropriate in program and facility development. Maintain cognizance of State and Federal regulations affecting physical therapy. Responsible for employee injury prevention, follows safety rules, and addresses safety issues with supervisor.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in physical therapy from an accredited college or university. Possess a license as a Physical Therapist from the
