Job Description
Overview As an Automotive Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and performance of vehicles. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and providing exceptional customer service. You'll work with a variety of automotive systems, including powertrains and electrical systems, while utilizing your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills. Join us in delivering top-notch automotive service that keeps our customers on the road! What you'll do Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, brake replacements, and transmission repairs. Utilize schematics to understand vehicle systems and ensure accurate repairs. Conduct alignment services to enhance vehicle handling and safety. Work with both gasoline and diesel engines, applying your knowledge of power tools and hand tools effectively. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly to clients. Estimate repair costs accurately to ensure transparency with customers. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized workshop environment. Basic qualifications Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes. Familiarity with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus. Proficient in automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques. Solid mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems including transmissions, powertrains, and electrical systems. Preferred qualifications Previous dealership experience is highly desirable. Experience with GM vehicles is beneficial. Knowledge of welding techniques for vehicle repair tasks is an asset. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
