Automotive Technician

Automotive Technician - JDM Sport Classics JDM Sport Classics is looking to add a full-time Automotive Technician to our growing team. We specialize in 25+ year old imported Japanese vehicles, including cars, vans, and SUVs. Our inventory includes both gasoline and diesel vehicles, and we fully service every vehicle that comes through the shop. We are looking for someone with a solid mechanical foundation, a good attitude, and a willingness to learn. While experience is preferred, we are open to training the right person if they already have basic automotive knowledge and understanding how vehicle systems and repairs work. Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repair work on imported vehicles Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues Complete inspections and recommended repairs Perform general service work including fluids, brakes, suspension, tune-ups, and other repairs Maintain a clean and organized work area Work efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship Qualifications Basic automotive repair knowledge required Previous technician or mechanic experience preferred Ability to use diagnostic tools and standard shop equipment Own basic tools Valid driver's license Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Pay & Benefits $23-$27 per hour based on experience and skill level Full-time position Every other Saturday required (short 4-hour day) 401(k) 401(k) matching 2 weeks PTO Unlimited overtime opportunities once trust and consistency are established About Us JDM Sport Classics is a specialty dealership and service shop focused on imported Japanese vehicles over 25 years old.
