Position Summary:
The Gladwyne Montessori School seeks a full-time Auxiliary Program Manager. This person will lead extended day (Before School & After School), enrichment clubs, summer camp, and other auxiliary programming. This role includes hiring and training team members, marketing auxiliary programs, navigating communication and collaboration with colleagues and parents, creating and maintaining policies, scheduling programs, and assisting with budget preparation and tracking. The Auxiliary Program Manager will design, staff, and manage revenue generating programs They will maintain positive relationships with parents and community members and proactively communicate with all stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage existing mission aligned auxiliary programs with leadership support
  • Continuously improve existing auxiliary programs
  • Design and introduce new mission aligned programs that generate surplus revenue
  • As revenue generating programs contributing towards the mission of the school, ensure programs generate a net surplus
  • Hire, orient, train and supervise auxiliary staff
  • Hire and coordinate vendors
  • Oversee the budget for Auxiliary Programs
  • Oversee the enrollment of all Auxiliary Programs which includes registration, customer service, reconciliation of billing and enrollment
  • Ensure all auxiliary programs are safe, secure, and that all staff are communicating regularly and accurately to guarantee student and staff safety
  • Demonstrate dependability, timeliness, and professionalism when interacting with all families that utilize auxiliary programs
  • Present at school events and support other marketing efforts
  • Participates in professional development activities designated by the Chief Financial & Operating Officer
  • Attend all required faculty and staff events and meetings
  • Other job duties as assigned by the

  • A willingness to work outside of "normal" business hours is essential as peak periods and special events necessitate some evening and weekend hours
  • Proficient in Google Suite, M.
S. Excel, M.S.
Word Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two years of experience in an education setting (Montessori experience preferred)
  • Bachelor Degree in Education, Business, Communication or related field
  • Must pass all required clearances (PA Child Abuse, Pennsylvania Access to Criminal History, Federal Criminal History Background Check)
  • Must have knowledge of minimum standards, health and safety practices, social and emotional development, and classroom management
  • Must be able to sit comfortably on the floor with children and bend, squat, and kneel with ease
  • Ability to navigate stairs
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
