The primary purpose of this position is to accomplish maintenance on electronically controlled powered support equipment containing highly complex digital devices and integred circuits. ARIZONA AIR NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED.

Prior to appointment into this position, selectee must be a current member of the Arizona Air Nional Guard, in a military position assigned to 161st ARW. This is an excepted service position th requires membership in a compible military assignment in the employing ste's Nional Guar, required prior to the effective de of placement. Selectee required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. Applicants who are not currently a member of the Nional Guard must be eligible for immedie membership and employment in the Nional Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement. Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service. Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigion. May be required to successfully complete a trial period. Participion in direct deposit is mandory. Incumbent must possess and maintain a current ste driver's license. EXPERIENCE

Must possess least 18 months experience or training removing, adjusting, replacing, cleaning, and installing parts, components, and accessories. Experience which provided working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic theory applying to powered support equipment and systems; and skill to replace, fit, install, and make adjustments. Experience which provided working knowledge of the makeup and operion of the various individual systems maintained and their interrelionships. Experience reading and interpreting parts lists, manufactures' repair manuals, diagrams, and electrical schemics. Ability to troubleshoot, repair, adjust and align down sized powered support equipment. 3. Ability to diagnose gas turbine malfunctions, using visual and auditory senses, test equipment and applicable technical publicions; make repairs, removes, disassembles and assembles components and sub-systems. 4. Ability to perform required TCTOs and other modificions on powered support equipment. 5. Ability to perform such additional duties as structural fire fighting, aircraft fire/crash/rescue duty, security guard, snow removal, munitions loading and handling, heavy equipment operor, maintenance of facilities and equipment, or serve as a member of a team to cope with nural disasters or civil emergencies.
