We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Certified Medical Assistant who thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment and is passionate about creating an outstanding patient experience. In this role, you will be an essential part of our clinical team, helping patients feel welcomed, respected, informed, and cared for throughout their visit. Whether you are an experienced Medical Assistant or looking to grow your clinical skills, we provide hands-on training, mentorship, and opportunities for professional development. Clinical & Patient Care Responsibilities Deliver compassionate, high-quality care and support to patients during their office visits. Perform clinical procedures and ancillary testing as ordered by providers, including: Vaccines and injections Phlebotomy Pulmonary Function Testing (PFTs) EKGs 6-minute walk tests Patient education X-rays Training and mentorship provided. Obtain and document complete patient histories (HPI), verify medical information, triage patient concerns, and assist with patient disposition. Dispense medication samples and medical equipment in accordance with provider orders and state regulations. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient documentation and records within the Epic electronic medical record system. Prepare and stock exam rooms, clean equipment, and maintain clinical supplies. Front Office & Team Support Assist with patient flow to ensure an efficient and positive experience while keeping patients informed of wait times. Cross-train in front office responsibilities, including: Patient check-in/check-out Insurance verification and authorizations Scheduling support Patient communication Answer phones professionally and document patient communications accurately. Utilize working knowledge of Epic to support efficient patient care, documentation, and workflow coordination. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, collaborative workplace culture.
Required Education/Credentials:
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant school Current Active or Pending Medical Assistant credentials in the state of Georgia Experience with or working knowledge of Epic preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills A compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
