Duties Oversee daily bakery operations, ensuring efficient food preparation, baking, and presentation of baked goods such as cakes, pastries, and bread. Coordinate cake decorating projects, maintaining high standards of creativity and quality for custom orders and special occasions. Manage packaging processes to ensure products are attractively presented and meet safety standards. Support food production activities by assisting with food handling, cooking, and food safety compliance across all bakery functions. Deliver excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering inquiries, and providing product recommendations to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation protocols. Assist in catering events or restaurant collaborations by preparing baked goods and supporting culinary team efforts. Promote the bakery's brand through social media updates, in-store displays, and community engagement initiatives. Qualifications Proven experience in baking, pastry arts, or culinary fields with a focus on cake decorating and food preparation. Strong knowledge of food industry standards including food safety practices and handling procedures. Skilled in kitchen operations such as knife skills, baking techniques, and food production processes. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Experience with packaging design or presentation is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Prior restaurant or catering experience is highly desirable.
