Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking enthusiastic, service-oriented individuals to join our Banquet Team for the summer season! As a Seasonal Banquet Server, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional food and beverage service at a variety of private events, including weddings, corporate retreats, holiday celebrations, and more. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a breathtaking mountain setting while enjoying the unique perks and benefits only Solitude can offer.

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS

Exceptional organization and time management skills Demonstrates knowledge of customer service to execute Solitude's standards Ability and willingness to collaborate Communicate with strong verbal skills Must have great problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Willing to work flexible work schedules that include holidays and weekends Ability to obtain and maintain current, valid state-required licenses and or certifications such as Food Handler's Certificate and Sips and Tips Capable of standing for extended periods of time and lifting up to 30 lbs.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide warm, professional, and prompt service to all guests Set up and break down banquet spaces according to event specifications Serve meals in various formats including plated, buffet, and hand-passed appetizers Deliver table wine service and monitor guest needs throughout the event Maintain clean, organized service areas and ensure an exceptional dining atmosphere Anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations with every interaction Set up the restaurant for food service, set tables with linens, silverware, and stemware, set buffets and action stations Create a comfortable atmosphere for our dining guests Effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth service Close, clean, and reset the banquet venue
