Barista

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and skilled Barista with a passion for crafting exceptional coffee and seasonal beverages. This role combines traditional barista responsibilities with innovation in developing limited-time drinks that reflect the season, local flavors, and brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare a full range of espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages to recipe and quality standards. Develop and test seasonal drink specials in collaboration with the management team. Stay informed on drink trends and incorporate them into beverage offerings. Ensure drink consistency, speed, and presentation during service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and equipment. Provide excellent customer service, upselling seasonal specials when appropriate. Monitor inventory and assist in ordering ingredients for specialty drinks. Assist with staff training on new beverage recipes and presentation standards.

Qualifications:

2+ year experience as a barista (specialty coffee experience preferred). Demonstrated creativity and understanding of flavor balance and presentation. Ability to follow recipes and also experiment when requested. Strong communication and teamwork skills. ServSafe or food handler certification (preferred but not required).

Bonus Skills:

Latte art, cold brew knowledge, or mixology experience. Prior experience designing seasonal menus or specials.
