As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our operations and ensure the utmost safety and quality of our food products, we are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Food Technologist to join our dedicated team. The primary responsibility of the Food Technologist will be to develop the safe packaging and transportation of our prepped spices and meats, which are integral to our culinary offerings. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity and safety of our food items from the point of preparation to their final destination in our restaurants. Key responsibilities will include developing and initially implementing innovative packaging solutions that not only meet food safety standards but also enhance product freshness and quality. Items are Seasoned Shish touk (chicken) Seasoned Lamb kebob (ground beef- lamb) Green hot sauce (jalapeño base) Red hot sauce (tomato base) Garlic sauce Tahini sauce (sesame base) Baba (has egg plant) Hummus seasoned Shawarma (Chicken) Drinks Mango drink Yogurt drink Lemon drink Chai drink The ideal candidate will conduct thorough assessments of current packaging materials and methods, identifying areas for improvement and recommending best practices for food safety and shelf life extension. Additionally, the Food Technologist will collaborate closely with our culinary team to understand the specific needs of our products and ensure that all packaging complies with relevant regulations and industry standards. The successful candidate will have a solid background in food science, specifically in food safety and packaging design. This is a part-time position, offering flexible hours that can be tailored to accommodate the right candidate's schedule. The Food Technologist will work closely with our management team to support our mission of delivering exceptional food quality and safety across all locations.
