Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly, attentive service Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling duties with integrity and accuracy Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high standards of service Qualifications Prior experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for coffee culture is essential Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and POS transactions Knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation practices Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and lift moderate loads comfortably Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional coffee experiences!
