Duties Assist with preparing coffee, beverages, and light food items following established recipes and safety standards Support cash handling processes using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate transactions Provide friendly and efficient customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing guest needs Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety practices Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods while adhering to food preparation standards Support food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks, ensuring quality and presentation Handle cash register operations accurately, including cashiering and retail math calculations Qualifications Previous barista or food service experience is preferred but not required; a passion for coffee and customer service is essential Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service Knowledge of food safety protocols and basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light supplies, and work collaboratively with team members Basic understanding of the food industry standards for serving, food handling, and food preparation Join us to be part of a dynamic team that values energy, dedication, and a commitment to delivering exceptional café experiences.
