Barista Cashier

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista Cashier to join our Xing Fu Tang team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality beverages, and managing cashier responsibilities with accuracy and professionalism. Duties Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, teas, and light food items in accordance with company standards Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change using retail math and cash handling skills Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling and serving Restock supplies, organize workstations, and keep the café environment tidy Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently Experience Previous barista experience or coffee industry background is preferred, if you don't have experience that is okay too. Experience with POS systems is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and café operations Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience in food preparation or food service environments is advantageous Ability to manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure prompt service This role is perfect for individuals passionate about boba, dedicated to delivering outstanding customer experiences, and eager to grow within the food industry.
