Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers, preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. If you have a passion for coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
• Ensure that all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained
• Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering their questions, and resolving any issues or complaints
• Assist with stocking inventory and restocking supplies as needed

Skills:

• Experience using Square POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred
• Strong sales skills to promote additional products or specials
• Proficient in cash handling procedures
• Basic understanding of retail math for calculating prices, discounts, and change
• Knowledge of food handling regulations and best practices
• Familiarity with the food service industry and its standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
• Passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing methods Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions.
