Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests to provide friendly, attentive service, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish. Operate POS systems such as Toast for accurate order processing and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations. Manage cash transactions accurately, including billing, tipping, and balancing cash drawers at shift end. Assist with food service when needed, including serving food items or supporting catering events like banquets or private parties. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar food service role; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly valued. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast along with basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices. Ability to manage time effectively in busy environments while multitasking between serving drinks, taking orders, and handling payments. Experience working in banquet settings or catering events is a plus; retail math skills are beneficial for inventory management.
