Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, offering recommendations and creating a welcoming environment. Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and swiftly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and balancing registers at shift end. Assist with food service when needed, including serving food items or catering orders at events like banquets or private parties. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations during busy hours. Uphold responsible alcohol service practices by verifying customer age and monitoring intoxication levels to promote safety. Experience Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking. Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service standards. Proven ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced settings while maintaining excellent customer service skills. Experience with retail math, basic math skills for cash handling, and familiarity with hospitality industry standards. Prior work in food industry roles such as food service or catering enhances your ability to adapt quickly. Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage crafting adds value to your skill set in creating unique drink offerings.
