• Part-time, Seasonal, Full-time Job Overview Ogyu, a Japanese Yakiniku restaurant is now seeking for Bartenders and servers.

You will have the opportunity to learn about different premium cuts of beef including Japanese A5 Wagyu. Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Bartender / Server, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this role, it is your responsibility to be knowledgeable in all areas of food, beverage, and service. You will learn to anticipate our Guests' needs and to provide each one with a positive dining experience, while exhibiting genuine hospitality. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Take customer orders accurately using POS system such as Chowbus and process payments efficiently with cash handling skills. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times. Manage multiple tables or bar stations effectively through strong time management and multitasking skills during busy hours. Assist in food service when needed, including serving food at banquets or catering events, ensuring timely delivery and presentation. Uphold all health regulations and safety protocols related to food safety, alcohol service, and responsible beverage service policies. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments such as restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet halls is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems like Chowbus is a plus; basic math skills are essential for cash handling and retail math calculations. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with strong communication skills. Experience working in a high-volume and fast paced environment Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations is required. Ability to manage time efficiently while handling multiple tasks in fast-paced environments. A positive attitude with a passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
