In this role, you will be the driving force behind delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Your leadership will inspire your team to excel, foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests, and uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure an outstanding guest experience. Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to optimize food costs and maintain quality standards. Supervise and train staff members on food handling, safety procedures, customer service techniques, and POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Handle cash transactions accurately, perform shift management duties, and ensure compliance with cash handling policies. Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation in accordance with health regulations; monitor kitchen operations and food production processes. Lead staff recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, training & development initiatives to build a skilled and motivated team. Implement budgeting strategies and monitor financial performance to meet operational goals while fostering a positive work environment. Coordinate with kitchen staff on culinary standards, food presentation, and timely delivery of orders in both casual dining and fine dining settings. Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Support special events such as banquets or catering services when required; oversee bar operations if applicable. Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry; previous experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or fine dining environments is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking processes, and kitchen management practices. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficient cash handling skills. Demonstrated ability in inventory control, food safety compliance, and food handling procedures. Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training & development, team management, and supervising diverse teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of hospitality. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences. Strong organizational skills with experience in budgeting, shift management, and operational planning. Hospitality management background with experience in hotel or catering services is a plus; culinary experience or barista/coffee expertise is advantageous.
