Job Description
Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into an impactful, rewarding role where your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst shapes a positive learning environment for students and staff alike. In this full-time contract position, you'll work 35 hours per week from 8:00am to 3:30pm, supporting a caseload of 10-15 students throughout the academic year. You'll collaborate with multiple classrooms and become a trusted resource for your colleagues, modeling effective ABA strategies and helping transform behaviors through data-driven practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential, with current certification Prior experience with school-aged children preferred Solid foundation in ABA methodologies, including hands-on and real-time strategy implementation Strong communicator who can provide clear guidance in person and follow up with detailed written support Flexible and adaptable in supporting diverse teams and classroom needsWhat You'll Do:
Assist and support up to five classrooms, working directly with teachers and paraprofessionals Train staff daily on empirical ABA techniques for reducing negative behaviors and facilitating meaningful behavioral growth Provide real-time, hand-over-hand modeling and support for staff, ensuring positive reinforcement and proactive de-escalation techniques are accessible and understood Maintain ongoing communication via email to reinforce strategies and sustain modeled behaviors Step in as a classroom support resource during absences or staff shortages Lead professional development sessions during designated days, covering core topics such as data collection, behavior management, and visual supports This is your opportunity to create lasting, positive change in a school community while collaborating closely with educators and making a direct impact on students' progress.
