Near Athens, Georgia:
Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Registered Behavior Technician, supporting students in a dynamic high school environment for the remainder of the academic year. This full-time role offers the chance to work closely with both individual students and groups, alongside a collaborative team of dedicated professionals. The assignment runs from July 31st through May 21st, 2027, providing a meaningful way to make an impact in a school community near Athens, GA.
  • Qualifications & Experience:
  • Active RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification required
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children or within educational settings preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and support personnel
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards
  • Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy and behavioral support to students in a middle school classroom
  • Provide 1:1 support to assigned students as well as small group interventions when needed
  • Document session activities and student progress with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, behavior analysts, and other support staff to implement behavior intervention plans
  • Utilize positive reinforcement techniques to promote skill development and student engagement
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP-related discussions
